A stem cell is a reserve cell that can become any cell you need. Stem cell research has shown positive results for people with fibrosis of the heart, liver fibrosis, and damaged brain cells. Stem cells can also be beneficial for the following:
•Stimulating new cartilage in the joints
•Autoimmune conditions
•Rejuvenating skin cells
•Cancer

Here’s how to keep your stem cell population at the highest level.

1. Fasting
Prolonged fasting can boost stem cells naturally. If you can fast for 72 hours, you can boost stem cell production primarily for the gastrointestinal tract, brain, and immune system.

2. Exercise
Intense exercise is the best way to boost stem cells for your muscles and brain. Exercise also stimulates BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor), which allows you to make new nerve and brain cells.

3. Deep sleep

Are there any stem cell boosting options for disabled people that are actually comfortable (causes zero – low stress) or at least non irritating to do, because so far sleep is only comfortable choice (ok avoiding junk food is more manageable, hyperbaric therapy is too expensive inaccessible for majority of population) , which is inaccessible for those with severe sleep disorders. ???

  32. I’ve abused myself most of my life with drink and drugs . I have had insomnia and chronic stress for about 10 years and now I have developed bad tinnitus and now having memory issues . Good question, those with severe sleep problems such as Narcolepsy have major next day & cellular regeneration incapability due to lack of cell regrowth needed by sleep in the brain, therefore much like computer ram storage the brain is overloaded capacity of old dead cells having no or little room for new fresh cells. Do severe sleep issues preventing cell regrowth prevent fastings cellular recycling capabilities so that fasting becomes more counterproductive vs beneficial? Do you have any simplified vocab & user friendly study links for us to look at on this controversial topic? Thanks appreciate it.

    For anyone who struggles with fasting, try fasting during the month of Ramadan (Islamic calendar). For some reason, it’s really easy to fast on Ramadan compared to other times.

    Fasting doesn’t only means abstaining from food, which is not ideal for people with co-morbidities. You can get same benefits with prolonged calorie deficit diet.

    Just eat less than usual, stop eating 3hrs before bed so that you fast while sleeping.

  50. They can’t help you fix your tissue with small tears in the shoulder but they can inject certain types of stem cells into the tear to fix the tear with rehab.
